Finishing a Transaction
An transaction ended successfully if the reserve is met in (or after)
an
auction, if an item was bought in the shop, or if for a request two
trading
partners met at the same price. Now the seller must sell the
item,
and the buyer must pay the final price. Only if a transaction
is regularly closed, a feedback form appears on the item page.
The item in a request is often just roughly defined. So the
trading
partners should meet each other with some tolerance.
As people have different feelings about time and delay, a
rigid rule
is necessary: seller and buyer must contact each other within three
business
days, and negotiate how to proceed with the deal.
The whole is a quite normal business: the item has to meet the
description
and the payment has to meet the final price. If something does not fit,
seller and buyer both have legal claims against each other - and can
decide
how to get them satisfied.
But don't worry, experience shows that almost everything runs
best,
an that most people are easier to get along with as commonly thought.

What does
after finishing?
Not too much, the item's page will remain accessible for minimum 60
days,
and the advertiser should take the same care for his pictures. The
email
messages sent to seller and buyer contain a direct link to the page,
and
if they are erased, you can recover the page from the closed-item list.
And if nothing or few happens?
If no agreement about the price was reached, often a contact is
established
between seller and an interested buyer. Maybe they can meet each other
under fair conditions.
If this fails, or if the item got not any bid or offer
respectively,
you can relist your advertisement with a couple of mouse clicks. Take
the
opportunity to upgrade your description to draw more attention. But
remember,
don't wait longer than 60 days (see above).
