Comments about the data

open face calibre
until ca. 1939 yellow gilt, later white
in most blind persons watches the calibres J47/1, J47G, J47/1G, J47b/1 are met. But the example here shows that at least the J47e/1 really exists.

old designation disregarding the grade:
47: old click with integrated spring
47G: new click with separate spring, since ca. No.20000
new designation indicating the grade, since ca. No.93000:
47a: 7 jewels, flat hairspring
47b: 15 jewels, flat hairspring
47c: 15 jewels, Breguet hairspring
47d: 15 jewels, Breguet hairspring, bimetallic balance
47e: 15 jewels, flat hairspring, without second, for blind persons watches
suffix /1: separate escape-wheel cock
The "G" for the new click appears also together with the new designation up to ca, No.106000.

Example, year: signature; shock device
ca. 1940: 147487, Junghans 47e/1 - 2366
