Comments about the data

Remarks
open-face- or hunter calibre
option: Breguet hairspring
option: bimetallic screw balance
This calibre isn't listed in any common register. But Flume lists a Buser 19''' with equivalent plate layout (Fig.5), and Ronda mentions a Buser 19'''Nidor (brand of Buser), but both are about 6.5mm high. More commonly the calibres Buser 105 (open face) and 106 (hunter) are listed. They have a different layout (Fig.6), but the same height. Therefore their data are partially adopted here.

Example, year: signature; shock device
1-2) ca. 1930: -
(Breguet hairspring)
3-4) ca. 1930: ZentRa 42
(flat hairspring)
5) 1947: old data sheet
6) 1949: old data sheet

Not for Sale!
The movements presented in this caliber finder are not for sale. This is only a data sheet for identification and evaluation of the movement calibre, as well as for approximate dating.
