first gents automatic-family with ball-bearing rotor (the very first in 1948 was a ladies size: 1194-1199)
already in the year of introduction replaced by the 1237UT with different rotor shape
detail modifications during production periode (cf. 1249T)
The simultaneous change from T- to U shock device and to a modified calibre (suffix C) lead to many variants. It is unknown whether all calibres were made in the variant TC (old shock device, new calibre); so only the known are listed here. Even signatures of UT versions were changed to UC (cf. 1247UT).
