1815: Founded by Fritz Favre-Leuba in Le Locle.
1961: The calibre 1149 (and successors). Its automatic mechanism is a joint development of AS, Doxa, Eberhard, Favre-Leuba, Girard-Perregaux, and Zodiac.
1963: The legendary calibre 250/251 (and successors). It was a completely genuin design, made by Favre-Leuba. It has two barrels, mainly to achieve for 1963's conditions a rather thin but nevertheless quite rugged movement.
1968: The automatic calibre 269, based on the 259 of the family - thus as well with two barrels.
Comments about the data
A tiny fine company. Favre-Leuba watches are of course disirable collectibles. However, they are not widely known, because mainly the Far East market was suplied.
