These are throughout top quality: The elaborated casing prevents that the dial rubs on the inner bezel edge, thus corrosion on the dial edge is the exception. A lead gasket may appear oldfashioned and doesn't last eternally. But it lasts much longer than every known soft plastic, and it protects electrolytically against corrosion. Consider that still today metal gaskets are mandatory where reliability is required, e.g. in equipment for explosive materials. Last not least, the crown sealing is known as rather durable from Mido watches. Please don't understand this as advertising for this watch. Many quality watches have well done cases, and if it rises my auction commision from 14 to 15 Euros, it wasn't worth the effort. But many use my archive as starting information source, and I just want few words about Borgel/Taubert there in the future.
