Comments about the data

open face calibre
option: chronometer bulletin from Observatory Besançon
strange for high grade movements, but common for EB: pillar design, only balance- and escape-wheel cock are milled from solid material

Actually this movement should be listed as Ed. Kummer Besançon (France), because the assosiaton forming EB (Ebauches Bettlach, Schwiss) was initiated by Kummer in 1926. But as EB supplied the spare parts for this calibre, it is listed in catalogs as EB 265, and this should not be changed here.

Example, year: signature; shock device
ca. 1920: Braco, Swiss Made

Not for Sale!
The movements presented in this caliber finder are not for sale. This is only a data sheet for identification and evaluation of the movement calibre, as well as for approximate dating.
