Comments about the data
open face calibre
setting lever between plates
This sticks out of the movement when setting, and mostly the movement can only be uncased with the crown in winding position.
This movement family was obviously an experiment subject. Most registers ignore this, but Flume at least lists the variants I and II of the Cortebert 474 with differing setting bridges. As far as these variants are also noticed for other calibres, they are here listed accordingly with the suffixes I and II.
473: open face, separate escape-wheel cock
474: open face, common cock for all wheels
484, 486, 487, 495: like 473, 474, differing details not known
18''', different balance:
479: open face, common cock for all wheels
485: hunter, center-wheel bearing in barrel bridge
476: open face, separate escape-wheel cock
477: open face, common cock for all wheels
Example, year: signature; shock device
1) ca. 1915: - 70 2
2) ca. 1910: - 050538
