As this watch was scarcely worn and just cleaned, it shows the performance, 112 years ago, of a high grade ladies watch, although regarded as unadjusted. Moreover the smooth running of this watch easily outscores an average new ETA 2824-2. However, even in the U.S.A. people scarcely had enough money for both, an expensive case and a movement exceeding the base grade with 7 jewels. This especially applied to ladies watches, making this one actually a higher grade object - also refering precision and durability. | Sold in Auction Date 10-20-04 High bid EUR 295.00 (~US$ 296.48) Reserve EUR 295.00 (~US$ 296.48) Not for Sale! The watch presented here is not for sale. It was offered or sold as mentioned above a longer time ago. This archive is just a market overview and price guide, e.g. for evaluation of comparable watches. Moreover, images and descriptions can help for dating and checking the authenticity of watches. |
