Pretty expensive
For the reserve price one can get a watch of remarkably higher quality. But watches like this were not intended for a long life, or even the care of a watchmaker. Honestly spoken: They were disposables. Despite originally huge quantities it is therefore a miracle if one passed every bin for decades, and even still runs well after a service with a new mainspring.
For hard-core enthousiasts of bottom grade watches this one is a bargain, because the risk is gone: Often the wear of the pointed balance bearings doesn't show up unless one paid for a service, and then one notices that even after the service the watch is ready for the bin.

Only for the Archive
Not important for this watch, but this information should not be lost after selling it: After present knowledge this watch with the later rounded lever cock and plain balance rim was made in ca. 1950. Interesting is that the dial (Fig.4) has mounting cutouts for both, the pin-lever Kienzle 46/0c (A) and the cylinder Kienzle 41 (B). For small-scale production this would be no surprise, but for this mass production it strongly indicates that both were produced in parallel for a long periode. So probably cylinder watches were even in the late 40s still bought.
