1020: Gents Jules Jürgensen open face gold 14K, 1926

Chronometer, super thin
Case: 16644, Swiss, Jules Jürgensen Ested. Copenhagen 1740, hinge case, gold 18K, mineral crystal, monogram "JL", gold-dust cover with inscription "Presented to Julius Lyons by Millinery Assosiation of America 1926", D=44.5mm
Dial: silvered, sunk sub second, applied blue steel digits, drilled minute dots, blue enameled second scale
Movement: 16644, Jules Jürgensen Ested. Copenhagen 1740, JGB Swiss, 10 Adjustments, stem wind and set, 19 jewels, Swiss lever escapement, bimetallic screw balance, Breguet hairspring, odd shaped Reed's regulator, H=2.7mm
Condition: C1-2, D1, M1, crystal poorly inserted, better replaced by a flatter one

2.7mm alone is no sensation, even not 1926. But it becomes remarkable if a chronometer with Breguet hairspring, Reed's regulator, and covered winding mechanism is not exceeding this height.
