Probably few read this:
Unfortunately this site can't ignore the habits on ebay. So movements offered here must compete with unchecked not specified, thus mostly unusable movements. Higher prices are only accepted, because the customer knows in advance precisely what he gets, and because here a movement is still cheaper than a single spare part. But replacing missing or broken parts would make the movements unsellable. E.g. the setting lever spring for this movement†costs EUR 10.60, not including the retailer margin and the mounting costs. Unfortunately this is not appreciated, and therefore occasionally movements with deficits will be offered here, but with precise dscription of the deficits.
I'd be crazy if I write remarks like this to advertise an 8-Euro item. I just try to re-establish old-fashioned trade habits with benefits for all partcipants, compared with the omnipresent gambling in the www - i.e. offering precisely described items, but in return prices which enable precise descriptions.
