Definitely! While a 100 years old Lange watch didn't even compensate inflation losses, contemporary dollar watches are in mint condition as expensive as high grade anonymous watches. Such primitive watches were always a contribution to watch history, but were thrown away after a couple of years usage. Still many samples of this mass product are circulating, but mint samples become already rare.
