For the reserve price one can get a watch of remarkably higher quality. But watches like this were not intended for a long life, or even the care of a watchmaker. Honestly spoken: They were disposables. Despite originally huge quantities it is therefore a kind of miracle if one passed every bin for nearly 100 years, and even still runs properly. Anyway, one needs to be a hard-core enthousiast of bottom grade watches to pick up a watch like this.
